Joshua Tree Crossfit Challenge is a theoretical concept on the idea of using National Parks as the arena for a challenging endeavor. Joshua Tree National Park is the first stop on the tour that spans the nation. The event logo was designed to be modular and accommodate the other Natl. Parks involved in the challenge. The “X” represents the challenge while the color scheme and secondary design elements work to support the arena in which the challenge is taking place.

SeaPort Ave. brings the traditional fisherman's open market concept and makes it mobile. Its main focus is to provide the same goods and services you would find in traditional fisherman markets but to seafood lovers inland and away from the coast. Fisherman's markets are popular wherever they sprout up but are only available to those near the coast or near a port of entry. Many of these markets are world renowned and attract many travelers. We plan on delivering the same exceptional level of quality and an even better experience with SeaPort Ave.
Manhattan Beach Pier in sunny Southern California has a long history. This conceptual book was driven by its history and its physical structure. The structural lines, its materials, its location all influenced and inspired the layout and construction of this book.
Materials such as dried sea weed were used to line the edges of the hard bound book. The title of the book was routed-out and sand from beneath the pier itself was inlaid. Wood was used for the hard cover to pay homage to the wooden railroad ties used to build the very first version of the pier.
Brief: Design a sustainable packaging utilizing any chosen product. Keep in mind the life cycle of the packaging and design a solution for it to have a second and or third life or ideally to have a close life cycle with little to no waste and a minimal carbon footprint.
Solution: Took one of the most wasteful products and made it 100% sustainable packaging. The wrapper would eventually be trash but that trash did not have to take up so much space, and the core would avoid the landfill and blossom into a living breathing plant.
The core has been created using Peat Moss. Similar to how paper is made, peat moss was ground down very fine. It was then laid out onto a screen where seeds were added. When the peat moss dried it became sturdy enough to be rolled and made into a toilet paper roll.
The idea is not to eliminate the roll but to eliminate its journey to the landfill. Once the toilet paper is used up you can plant the roll in your home garden or in a sponsored city garden. By doing this the roll gets a second life and avoids its contribution to landfill waste.

RUNIT is a concept based on how consumers have access to products they desire. By concentrating on commercials, RUNIT creates an entirely new shopping pipeline for TV and music video audience.
Here is how it works: RUNIT allows you to replay commercials to access products that have been placed and used as props. When you replay a scene or segment of a video you can click on the products in the scene. By clicking on the product you are given the option to purchase that item from the manufacturer website.
